What to include in your public profile information and ‘About me’ section
Updated over 3 months ago
Your professional statement and general professionalism on the platform should not include any of the following…
Potentially Misleading Information - Potential misleading information for patients to review prior to booking. For example, over-stating certifications, and pricing “specific” specials that may not be guaranteed.
Unclear Provider Profile Images - Profile images should be a clear representation of the provider. They should not include text, borders, or any additive manipulation that makes the image look distinctive in search results. Only your client portal photos may include other imagery of your choice such as a logo, a photo of your practice, and other types of imagery that are appropriate.
Weblinks - Weblinks that may redirect patients to other websites with exceptions to the Broadcast feature.
Profile Contradictions - Contradictory statements to the information presented within your Materia+ public profile (client portal), such as price inaccuracies, availability discrepancies, etc.
Community Standards Violation(s) - References to any activity that violates Materia+’s Community Standards, seen here.
