To streamline the process and improve convenience, providers are not required to confirm appointments scheduled through Materia+. Additionally, for added ease of use, appointment statuses are automatically updated to "completed" once the scheduled time has passed.
Manually marking an appointment as complete is primarily useful if an appointment concludes early, allowing you to free up the slot for other patients. If you prefer not to clear the slot for a new patient, simply let the scheduled appointment time pass, and it will automatically be marked as complete.
