How do I reschedule or cancel my appointment?

At this time, you are unable to cancel an appointment directly through Materia+. To ensure that providers are protected from cancellation abuse, patients must reach out to the provider to request a cancellation. The provider will then handle the cancellation and send you an email confirming it.

We kindly ask you to respect Materia+ providers by canceling appointments in advance. Patients who fail to cancel and do not attend their appointment are classified as no-shows. For more information, please refer to our cancellation and no-show policy.

 

What happens if my appointment is cancelled?

If a provider cancels your appointment, they will explain the reason for the cancellation. You will receive an email from Materia+ outlining this reason. The cancellation notice may also include instructions for rescheduling from your provider. If you do not hear from the provider regarding the cancellation, please reach out to them for further information.
